Brian Fitzpatrick is awarded AERA Dissertation Grant

Congratulations to Sociology Ph.D. Candidate and ND PIER Fellow Brian Fitzpatrick on the award of an American Educational Research Association (AERA) Dissertation Grant. The grant provides support to advanced doctoral students doing analysis of large-scale data and writing doctoral dissertations. Brian will use his one-year $25,000 grant to do research using data of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
